Short answer: When an order has not started, the cause is almost always the link or the account settings: a private profile, a typo or changed username, a deleted or restricted post, or a feature such as comments being switched off. Most orders begin within minutes of payment, so if nothing has moved after a few hours, run through the seven checks below and then contact support with your order number.
Delivery depends on one thing staying true from start to finish: the link you entered must open a public page that anyone, including a logged-out visitor, can see. When that breaks, delivery cannot begin or pauses part-way. The good news is that most causes take a minute to spot and even less to fix.
How long should you wait before worrying?
Most orders start within minutes of payment, most finish within a few hours, and almost all are complete within one to two working days. Larger orders are paced on purpose, so a slow trickle is not the same as an order that has not started. For typical start times by order size, see how long delivery takes; if numbers rise in small steps, drip-feed delivery explains why.
A sensible rule: if nothing at all has changed after a few hours, work through the list below. Live stream and Premiere products are the exception. They are delivered during the broadcast itself (roughly 30 minutes), so the stream has to be live when delivery is due.
What are the 7 most common reasons an order does not start?
1. The profile is private
On Instagram, a private account limits who can see your posts to followers you have approved, and TikTok, X and most other platforms work the same way. Delivery needs a public profile, so switch it to public and keep it that way until the order is complete. Going private mid-delivery pauses the order, and a profile made private during delivery is not covered by the refund policy.
2. The link has a typo or points to the wrong place
A missing character, an extra space, a link to the wrong post, or a profile link entered for a post-level service (or the other way round) will all stop delivery. Copy the link from the app’s share menu rather than typing it. Our guide to finding the right profile, post or video link shows where each one lives on every platform.
3. You changed your username after ordering
On most platforms the profile address is built from your handle, such as instagram.com/yourname or tiktok.com/@yourname. Change the handle and the old link leads nowhere. Avoid renaming while an order is running; if you already have, send support the new link straight away.
4. The post or video was deleted, archived or made private
Archiving an Instagram post, deleting and re-uploading a TikTok, or switching a YouTube video to private all break the link. YouTube’s own help centre explains that private videos can only be watched by the uploader and people they invite, while unlisted videos open for anyone who has the link. In practice, unlisted usually works and private never does.
5. The content is age-restricted or region-locked
According to YouTube, age-restricted videos cannot be watched by viewers who are signed out or under 18, and most third-party sites cannot play them either. Content blocked in certain countries, or hidden by sensitive-content settings, can be just as hard to reach. If a restriction was applied by mistake, appeal it; otherwise choose a different, unrestricted video for your order.
6. A setting blocks the action you ordered
Comments cannot land on a post where commenting is switched off, and Instagram lets you turn comments off either before or after sharing. Instagram’s Limits feature can also hide comments from accounts that do not follow you or that followed you within the last week, for up to four weeks at a time. Before ordering comments or similar engagement, check that the feature is open and that Limits is paused.
7. The upload is brand new or still processing
A video that is still processing, a post published seconds ago or a scheduled post that has not gone live yet may not be reachable. Wait until the content plays normally in a logged-out browser window, then place the order.
How can you check your link in 30 seconds?
- Copy the link exactly as you entered it at checkout (it is in your confirmation email).
- Open a private or incognito browser window, where you are not logged in to the platform.
- Paste the link. If the profile or post appears, it is public and correct. If you see a login wall, a “page not found” message, a private-account notice or an age warning, you have found the problem.
Quick reference: cause, symptom and fix
| Cause | What you see when logged out | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| Private profile | A notice that the account is private | Make the account public until delivery finishes |
| Typo or wrong link | Error page or a different account | Send the correct link to support before delivery starts |
| Changed username | Old link shows “page not found” | Keep the new handle and send the updated link |
| Deleted, archived or private post | Post missing | Restore it, or order again for a live post |
| Age-restricted or region-locked | Sign-in or age warning | Appeal the restriction or use another video |
| Comments off or limited | No comment box, or comments hidden | Turn comments on and pause Limits during delivery |
| Very new upload | Video still processing | Wait until it plays publicly, then order |
What should you do if the order still has not started?
Get in touch through the contact page (email or WhatsApp, staffed around the clock) and include your order number, the link you entered and, if needed, the corrected link. Replies normally arrive within 24 hours.
Two points from the refund policy are worth knowing before you write:
- If nothing has been delivered after seven days, you can choose free re-delivery or a full refund. Requests should be made within seven days of the expected delivery date, and approved refunds take 5–10 business days to appear.
- A wrong link cannot be recalled once delivery has started, and a profile made private or deleted during delivery is not refundable. That is why it pays to fix link problems quickly.
How do you stop it happening next time?
- Keep the profile public and the username unchanged until the order is complete.
- Copy links from the share button and test them in a logged-out window before you pay.
- Place one order per link; several posts or profiles need separate orders.
- Do not delete, archive or re-upload a post while an order is running on it.
- For live products, make sure the stream is actually live when delivery is due.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change the link after placing an order?
Yes, as long as delivery has not begun. Contact support straight away with your order number and the correct link. Once delivery has started on a wrong link, it cannot be recalled or moved.
My order started but stopped part-way. Is that the same problem?
Often, yes. A profile that went private, a removed post or a username change mid-delivery will pause it. Larger orders are also paced deliberately, so a pause can simply be gradual delivery. If numbers have not moved for a full day, contact support.
Do I need to share my password for the order to start?
No. Only the public link and an email address are needed, and nothing has to be installed. Never hand your login to anyone who claims it will “speed up” an order.
Does the account type affect whether an order starts?
No. Personal, creator and business accounts all work, provided the profile and post are public and the feature you ordered, such as comments, is switched on.
